AFTER the FBI raided YouTuber Jake Paul’s Los Angeles home on Wednesday, one neighbor has come forward about the “loud explosions” he allegedly hears at night.
The agents seized multiple guns at Jake’s place after serving a search warrant, though it’s unknown if he was there at the time of the probe.
Though no arrests were reportedly planned, authorities did share that this early morning raid was part of an ongoing investigation regarding his May protesting arrest in Scottsdale, Arizona for allegedly taking part in looting.
After the chaos of armored cars and agents going into Jake’s Calabasas neighborhood to raid his home, the star’s neighbor shared details with CBSLA about what it’s like living next to the internet personality.
He claimed he often hears giant blasts coming from Jake’s $6.9 million mansion but doesn’t know what’s causing the noises.
The neighbor said: “Big loud explosions at night. These are just mysterious, things in the night.”
While the alleged explosions might seem out of the ordinary, loud noises in general from the 23-year-old’s residence likely aren’t because of the parties he throws.
Most recently, the actor held a massive blowout, despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and gathering guidelines.
Videos posted online showed dozens of people partying at his place, not wearing masks and not socially distancing.
In one clip taken from a home nearby, a neighbor can be heard saying: “All of them are over there hanging out. No masks, no nothing.”
After footage of the event went viral, the Calabasas mayor revealed the city was considering legal action against the host.
Jake has been hit with noise complaints from neighbors in the past, as he was accused of hosting massive crowds of screaming fans and even setting furniture on fire in his swimming pool.
The complaints resulted in his firing from Disney series Bizaardvark.
