At one point Linda – who wore a a cap, a check blazer and a pair of black jeans – paused to laugh at something with her friend.
Linda then stopped at a kiosk before tucking into an ice cream.
The singer opened up about her health battle after both her and sister Anne were diagnosed with cancer within days of each other.
Linda said she was “scared to death” by cancer and was left “traumatised” when her hair fell out from chemotherapy.

Linda said: “We’re both scared to death. We want to live. It is a very scary diagnosis. I’m getting great treatment and I’m going to be living with cancer for some time. We are lucky I suppose in the fact we can have it together.”
However, Linda stressed the importance of being positive, and even came up with a nickname for them both.
She continued: “You’ve heard of the Chemical Brothers – we are the chemo sisters.”
Her hair falling out was one of the harder aspects of treatment – admitting she was traumatised by it.

The star said when she was last treated for cancer, they used a cooling cap to keep some of her hair, but this time they didn’t have one that fit.
She continued: “They didn’t have a cool cap that fitted, so my hair fell out. I was traumatised by that. I feel a bit weird saying yeah, I’ve got cancer but I’ve got no hair.”
She also reflected on her sister Bernie, who died of breast cancer in 2013.
Linda said: “We miss Bernie every single day and I don’t think we’ll ever get over it. When I looked in the mirror after my hair fell out, I saw Bernie looking back.

“I saw her looking back as a sick person. People have always said we look alike.”
Anne wasn’t able to join the interview as she was feeling too ill from her treatment.
Linda stressed that she was okay, but as Anne is suffering from primary and she secondary cancer, their treatments are different.
Linda’s incurable cancer is in her liver, her third recurrence following breast cancer in 2006, cellulitis and lymphoedema in her arm in 2007 and secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.

Meanwhile, sister Coleen broke down on Loose Women earlier this week and said her sisters were “scared” and “suffering from anxiety” in their cancer battles.
She said: “They’re great, unbelievably great, but they’re scared. Anne’s suffering terribly from anxiety, something she’s never ever had in her life.
“And Linda is devastated with her hair loss.”
