WE love a good bargain, and some eagle-eyed shoppers have been chatting about a particularly impressive bargain found down Aldi’s Special Buys aisle.
The item in question is a £3.99 tie dye kit, which one shopper says will add colour to 10 t-shirts.
An Aldi shopper was so thrilled to find the tie-dye kit in her local store, she took to Facebook to share her bargain buy with others on the group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
The excited woman wrote: “Tie Dye Kits lots of different coloured packs in Aldi @£3.99 a pack of 5 plus 5 refills. Usually £10.00 everywhere else.”
Others have since flocked to the post, which has racked up over 800 followers and 1,700 comments.
Many tagged friends and family members to let them know about the bargain buy, while others who have already road tested the kit shared photos of their tie-dye creations.
One woman said: “Got these last year they’re great, got 10 t-shirts out of them.”
Another advised: “I got these last year, and still using them today! You don’t need to use all the powdered dye in one go. Use little bits and make it go further. Doesn’t change the result.”
A third sang the kit, writing: “They are really good quality, I got these a couple of years ago and they are still producing vibrant colours.”
The kit comes in four colour options: sunset, shibori, neon and pastel.
Each includes ten sachets of dye in five colours, plastic gloves, elastic bands and instructions.
They are only available in store, but you’ll have to be quick, because with so many people eager to get their hands on a kit, it looks like stocks might not last long.
