“The Big Ride,” “Proper Preparation and Planning,” and “Over the Hill With the Swords of a Thousand Men” can all be viewed in all their gory, bloody wonderfulness.
Fans rushed to Twitter to express their love of the show, which ended on a massive cliffhanger at the end of the first season as Billy Butcher discovered his wife was still alive.
And not only is Becca very much alive, but Butcher found her living in secret and raising the son of the sociopathic superhero Homelander. Phew!
One fan wrote: “And maybe I’ve become soft or forgotten how gory this show was, but boy was the 1st episode full of Gore overdose”

“Casual gore oh how I’ve missed you #TheBoys,” gushed a second.
A third penned: “Yooo my heads gonna explode after this ep not even done the first ep and wtf lmfao it’s so good but the violence and gore.”
Some were disappointed that only a few episodes were available, with one moaning: “Wait why did season 1 release all at once and season 2 only on Friday’s”
Amazon wrote for its official synopsis for the new series: “Season 2! New and improved! Now with 50% more explosive decapitations, terrorists, S&M hookers, cults, and a new pine fresh scent! But wait, there’s more! 2X MORE blood, guts and gore than the other leading brands! This exclusive offer is available only on Amazon Prime Video! Don’t Delay! Order now!”

Fans were delighted to hear that the blood-heavy series has been green lit for a third season – even before the second season was released.
The popular superhero show plans to begin production early next year, continuing to track the nefarious antics of Vought Industries.
Series creator Eric Kripke said: “We hope to be shooting in early 2021, but that’s up to a microscopic virus.”
During the SDCC 2020 panel for the hit comic book series, producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg showed up to announce that The Boys season 3 was already given the green light by Amazon in anticipation of its second season, due in September.
