A THREE-year-old girl was allegedly raped and strangled in India as part of a vicious feud between rival families.
The little girl’s body was found in a field near her home after she went missing last Wednesday.
The girl’s dad has claimed she was attacked after an ongoing family argument with another family[/caption]This is the third time a child has been raped and murdered in the Lakhimpur Kher district, of Uttar Pradesh, of India, in the last 20 days.
The child’s heartbroken father alleges that the arrested man kidnapped and killed his daughter due to an old rivalry.
The suspect was arrested after the police formed four teams to search for him.
Police said the girl had been raped and strangled and left in the field.
HEARTBROKEN FAMILY
This comes after a 17-year-old was found dead after she had left home in order to complete a scholarship application.
Her mutilated body was discovered near to a dried-up pond just 200 metres from her village.
It is alleged that she had also been raped and murdered.
Around the same time as this a 13-year-old girl was also raped and strangled in the same district.
She went missing and her devastated family found her body in a nearby sugarcane field.
Congress chief Ajay Kumar Lalu Tweeted: “Even after so many incidents our ‘tough’ Chief Minister has not fixed responsibility. A dying system and a helpless Chief Minister.”
