Paul Pogba arrives at Man Utd training after Covid-19 battle with Solskjaer having big plans for midfielder this season
PAUL POGBA was driven into Manchester United training on Friday as the star’s Covid-19 scare finally came to an end.
Both the Frenchman and wife Zulay tested positive for the illness, which struck just before Pogba entered his national team camp at the end of last month.
After self-isolating, the couple posted pictures to their Instagram of them recovering and spending time with their son Labile Shakur.
With United’s pre-season now fully underway, Pogba tested negative and was able to head back into Carrington at the end of the week.
The 27-year-old was driven into work in a black Mercedes people carrier, sitting behind a masked-up chauffeur.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to have big plans for Pogba as he formulates a side with new signing Donny van de Beek.
With the Red Devils’ Premier League opener postponed, they will instead face Aston Villa in a friendly on Saturday.
Whether the World Cup winning midfielder will be involved at Villa Park remains to be seen.
