This tear-jerking new movie is an adaptation of Florian Zeller’s play of the same name.
His illness continues to get worse and it becomes more apparent when Anthony fails to recognise his own daughter when she walked into his flat one day.
Near the end of the trailer, he asked: “Who are you exactly?” and even fails to recognise himself as he enquired: “Who exactly am I?”
Zellar also directed the movie himself and gave his thoughts on what he hopes the show will achieve.
He shared: “The idea was never just to tell a story about dementia from the outside, it was to give the opportunity to the audience to experience signs of dementia, as if they were in the main character’s head.”
