Friends fans hijack Courteney Cox’s tribute to hunky boyfriend – begging for Monica and Chandler reunion
FRIENDS fans have begged Monica actress Courteney Cox to get back with Chandler as she posted a loved-up tribute to real boyfriend Johnny McDaid on their 7th anniversary.
Fans of the hit show bombarded the actress, 56, with pleas to reunite with Chandler on her Instagram page under her glowing tribute to her “incredible man” Snow Patrol’s Johnny, who she’s been apart from since lockdown in March.
She captioned the video montage: “7 years ago today I had my first date with this incredible man… and my life was changed forever. I love you J :
But Friends’ fans could not help themselves and rushed to ask where her famous TV husband was.
One wrote: “He’s beautiful but where’s Chandler?”
Another teased: “Ok, but what about Chandler.”
They hijacked her Instagram post that was supposed to be a tribute to her boyfriend[/caption]A third chimed in: “Why couldn’t you be with Chandler.”
However one fan jumped to her defence and said: “The Chandler comments are beyond annoying, ” adding “she has a life.”
Friends fans may have to wait longer before she reunites with Chandler – who was played by Matthew Perry – for real as it’s been reported the long awaited reunion show has been postponed until 2021 because of the corona virus.
Courteney was previously married to David Arquette, with whom she shares 16-year-old daughter Coco.
The hijacking comes after Jennifer Aniston reunited with Friends costars Courteney and Lisa Kudrow during the Emmy Awards last week.
Jen checked in with host Jimmy Kimmel to let him know she arrived at home before her category was announced.
After verifying that she got home safe, Courteney popped on screen to say hello to the host.
When Jimmy noted that Courteney was there, she responded: “Of course I’m here. We live together,” with Jen adding: “We’ve been roommates since 1994.”
