BAKE Off hopeful Lottie Bedlow was obsessed with the show and Paul Hollywood before she caught the judge’s eye.
Pals say Lottie, 31 — who last week received a coveted “Hollywood handshake” — told them it was a “dream come true” to be picked for the latest series of the Channel 4 programme.
She has risen to the challenge and also raced ahead of rivals by notching up the most followers on Instagram, with 10,500.
Fans rave about how dishy she is and Hollywood, 54, admired her Quarantine Florentines before honouring her with a handshake, watched by 10.8million viewers.
A friend said: “When she got picked to be in the series, it was a dream come true.
“She’s always been a massive fan of the programme, and of Paul, so she’ll have loved the fact he has already picked her out as a star baker.

After Tuesday’s episode, male and female fans bombarded social media with messages of support for theatre producer Lottie, from West Sussex.
