The day before, Houston lawyer Rogelio Garcia shared a photo of the sign on Twitter, which is located off I-45 near Telephone Road.
“So Trump drops a big (approx 40×60 feet) expensive political sign in my largely Hispanic neighborhood in Houston TX about a week ago which upset me,” Garcia wrote.
“I wake up this morning and this is what the sign looks like now hahahahah.”
“I promise you folks I had nothing to do with this,” the attorney continued, followed by winking emojis. “However I wish I had.”
Turn Texas Blue took credit for the graffiti [/caption]The tweet had amassed over 87,000 likes and over 23,000 retweets by Saturday morning.
After revealing they were behind it, Turn Texas Blue also took credit for changing Houston’s iconic “Be Someone” overpass sign in the same thread.
“We also changed our beloved ‘BE SOMEONE’ bridge to VOTE OR DIE a couple of weeks ago,” they said.
The news came while Trump made appearances in several battleground states like Florida and Georgia – including his NBC News Town Hall interview on Thursday night.

Trump‘s town hall was seen on three networks, NBC, MSNBC and CNBC.
Nielsen TV ratings show Trump pulled in a total of around 13.4million viewers, while Biden‘s chat on ABC was watched by 14.1million.
These figures – audience measurement systems operated by Nielsen Media Research – don’t take online and streaming numbers into account, however.
Sources claimed Trump was eager to humiliate his election rival by “blowing him out of the water” in TV ratings.

Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller said: “We’re gonna have a much bigger audience than Joe.”
The president had refused to debate Biden online, saying it was a “waste of time”, after a second head-to-head was moved into cyberspace following his coronavirus diagnosis.
His town hall – moderated by Savannah Guthrie – was approximately 30 minutes shorter than Biden’s program and was much more combative in tone.

In a statement the president’s campaign boasted that he had “soundly defeated” the moderator – branding her a “Joe Biden surrogate”.
It added: “President Trump masterfully handled Guthrie’s attacks and interacted warmly and effectively with the voters in the room.”
She quizzed Trump about a range of issues, from his administration’s Covid-19, response, the right-wing conspiracy group QAnon, to his tax returns and debt.
