What did Trump say about Twitter?
Trump recently lashed out at tech platforms Twitter and Facebook for being “corrupt” over their coverage of the Hunter Biden scandal.
“The USA doesn’t have Freedom of the Press, we have Suppression of the Story, or just plain Fake News,” Trump tweeted.
“So much has been learned in the last two weeks about how corrupt our Media is, and now Big Tech, maybe even worse. Repeal Section 230!”
Trump’s claims come after reporting on Hunter Biden from the New York Post two weeks ago was briefly censored by Twitter and Facebook.
For less than 24 hours, Twitter didn’t allow people to share the URLs or send them via direct message – which Dorsey said was “incorrect.”
Anyone who shared the links on Twitter was briefly banned from the platform.

What did Jack Dorsey say in response to the Twitter controversy?
Twitter’s CEO issued an apology after the site began marking links to the article with a “distribution of hacked material policy.”

“And blocking URL sharing via tweet or DM with zero context as to why we’re blocking: unacceptable.”
“Our goal is to attempt to add context, and now we have capabilities to do that.
Republicans have claimed Twitter’s “censorship” of the negative Hunter Biden news story was an “illegal contribution” to Joe Biden’s campaign.
