BAKE Off viewers have threatened to switch off, as they tonight branded the Channel 4 show ‘dull’ since Lottie’s shock exit.
This evening’s show saw Marc become the eighth baker to leave the tent, but it seems fans are still reeling from last week’s eviction.
Fans are calling for Lottie to be brought back to Bake Off[/caption]Bake Off fans were left unimpressed with the latest episode and called for Lottie to be brought back.
The 32-year-old quickly became a fan favourite following her sarcastic quips and banter with host Noel Fielding.
Despite Laura’s disastrous ice cream cake, the West Sussex native was the one to get the boot.
During this week’s quarter final, the bakers came face to face with dessert week, and poor Marc had one disaster after another.
A tearful Lottie was voted off the show last week[/caption]But despite the action into tonight’s episode, viewers were missing their weekly Lottie fix.
Fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration with one saying: “Bakeoff is dull without Lottie & Irish Mark #GBBO.”
While this one said: “Wow bake off kinda sucks now Lottie and Mark are gone.”
This one added: “Can we start some kind of support group for people like myself who are desperately missing Lottie? It’s boring without her!”
Fans say Bake Off is ‘dull’ without Lottie on the show[/caption]It comes as Lottie revealed that she’s been left unemployed after the pandemic cancelled all her panto work.
Lottie shared an emotional open letter urging fans to apply for next year’s show.
The pantomime producer from West Sussex revealed that she is currently unemployed after all panto work was cancelled.
NINTCHDBPICT000616858726-1[/caption]She said: “I am not sure what is going to happen to pantos this year. I am unemployed at the moment as a producer but my colleague and I are now thinking of something innovative to put on this Christmas, possibly streaming something.
“We are trying to adapt to the new climate, as the theatre industry is struggling.”
Meanwhile fans were tonight left in tears when adorable baker Marc was the latest contestant to leave the show.
The Cornish single dad, 51, has been a fan favourite throughout the series, so viewers were sad when judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith decided it was time for him to go.
Marc served his last cake on Bake Off tonight[/caption]Poor Marc faced a tough time with all three challenges, with his showstopper fairing the worst – with Prue even saying she “felt sorry for him”.
On hearing the news he was leaving Marc said: “I am feeling surprisingly ok actually.
“I came to the Bake Off to kind of face my anxieties, to face failure and to face all those things that people can be quite uncomfortable about dealing with.

“I have definitely learned a lot more about myself, and maybe
from what people have said, to give myself a bit more credit, which I don’t!’
“He started off pretty badly and then as each week has passed by he has got better and better and better, and it’s a shame to see him go.”
Elsewhere and Hermine was named Star Baker for the second week.
