A FATHER who was filmed allegedly threatening to “knock out” an amputee motorcyclist faces up to three years behind bars.
Shocking social media footage captured the moment the thug dad and his teenage son threatened to knock out the man – all while holding onto their ice creams.

The bully duo hurled a tirade of abuse at motorcyclist Shane Kapitzke, who they claimed had parked too close and touched their car.
The 46-year-old thug, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was captured on body cam footage by another rider outside a Hungry Jacks in Mackay, a town in the North of Queensland, Australia.
He initially faced Mackay Magistrates Court on one count of threatening violence against Shane Kapitzke, but on Wednesday the charge was replaced with common assault, according to the Daily Mercury.
Shane Kapitzke had been on a motorbike ride with his 22-year-old son in October when the pair stopped at a fast food restaurant.
Mr Kapitzke was outside the restaurant when the middle-aged and teenage bullies began to threaten him.
The man mocked Mr Kapitzke for having a prosthetic arm and saying it was the only reason he wasn’t getting “punched out”.
A man yelled on the video: “It’s good to see you got no arm too, you piece of s***, you deserve it.”
“That’s the only reason you’re not getting f***ing punched out, c***.”
“Your sympathy f***ing thing is gonna go out the window in a moment.”
His son can then be heard calling the amputee a “fat f*****”.

After the heated verbal exchange continues, the father is then seen walking toward Mr Kapitzke with clenched fists standing inches from his face.
When Mr Kapitzke tells the two men to get back in the car, the dad tells a woman in the passenger seat to hold his two soft serve ice creams.
He then points his finger in the face of the amputee and says “don’t touch our f***ing car again c***”.
The verbal abuse continued for eight minutes before the pair finally drove away.
Mr Kapitzke said at the time of the attack, he didn’t want to leave his son “out there” by himself if the situation escalated into a physical fight – but also didn’t want to have to explain a black eye or worse to his daughter.

Under Australian law, a charge of assault does not necessarily require any physical contact or bodily harm.
The court was told the father was applying for Legal Aid and asked for the matter to be adjourned. The case will continue before the courts next month.
The man’s 17-year-old son was also charged with the same offence and is set to face Mackay Children’s Court.
