YOUTUBE monster Stas Reeflay could face 15 years’ jail for manslaughter, NOT murder, after allegedly killing his lover Valentina ‘Valya’ Grigoryeva.
He let the near-naked mum-to-be die after locking her outside in subzero temperatures during a cruel livestream in Russia.
Valentina, 28, was in the early stages of pregnancy[/caption] Stas Reeflay – real name Stanislav Reshetnikov[/caption]The popular YouTuber is under criminal investigation for inflicting grievous bodily harm which killed his girlfriend on the livestream.
He faces up to 15 years in prison if found guilty, say cops investigating the death at his rented house in Ivanovka village, near Moscow.
Near-naked Valentina ‘Valya’ Grigoryeva, 28, was believed to have died of hypothermia after her boyfriend, 30, forced her to stand outside in subzero temperatures during the sick broadcast.
Witnesses and forensic specialists allege that earlier in the livestream he had inflicted appalling injuries on his girlfriend.
She allegedly sustained serious head and facial injuries from beatings and three blows to her face along with “multiple bruises”.
One viewer testified that after his violent attack, he locked her outside in just her underwear after pouring water over her.
Grigoryeva tried to wrap herself in a jacket which he took away, saying the pregnant woman needed to “sober up”.
She was left outside in Moscow region’s bitter cold for up to 15 minutes.
When he brought her back inside, the distressing scenes were transmitted live to viewers as Reeflay gradually realised she was not breathing and had no heartbeat.
Reeflay was heard saying: “Valya, Valya, damn, you look like you are dead.
“Bunny, come on…tell me something. I’m worrying. Damn… I’m not feel her heartbeat.”
He informed his viewers: “Guys, no pulse. She’s pale. She is not breathing.”
YouTuber Stanislav Reshetnikov at the police station[/caption] Valentina died of hypothermia in the Moscow region[/caption] A pal of the dead woman said his livestreaming had been ‘full of cruelty’ towards her[/caption]The grotesque broadcast continued even as paramedics and police arrived.
Grigoryeva was pronounced dead at the scene.
One report alleged that the streamer was paid $1,000 by a punter to inflict the torture on her.
Despite her death, it is believed the broadcast continued for two hours after she passed away.
The Russian Investigative Committee now has the streamer – real name Stanislav Reshetnikov – in custody and launched an investigation into causing grievous bodily harm resulting in death.
Until this is fixed, censorship is necessary.
Liza Lazerson
A friend of the dead woman said his livestreaming had been “full of cruelty” towards Valentina.
Feminist activist Liza Lazerson hit out at YouTube for “prohibiting the spread of nipples” but showing scenes of violence and cruelty against women “without problems”.
“The woman dies on air – and the audience sends donations to the killer. This must stop,” Lazerson added.
She warned: “Such videos are calmly broadcast to the whole world, meaning something is broken.
“Until this is fixed, censorship is necessary.”
She had recently revealed she was pregnant[/caption]YouTube has denounced the twisted footage and said in a statement: “We’re shocked to learn of this tragic incident.
“This kind of graphic content is not acceptable on YouTube.”
His account has since been “terminated”.
A spokesperson denied the cruelty had been livestreamed via the platform, adding “we quickly removed re-uploads”.
However, a number of Russian viewers confirmed they had seen it live on YouTube and that Reshetnikov specifically advertised his violent streams on this platform.
But it’s understood he used another platform for donations, according to local reports.
Her shocking death has led to calls in Russia for an urgent ban on online “reality violence”, which appears unrestricted on YouTube and can be watched by children.
