The Angels hitmaker, who won the 2001 Christmas number one with Nicole Kidman and their duet Somethin’ Stupid, is a huge fan of the former Towie star – so much so, he even makes a shock cameo appearance on her reality show Diva At Xmas, on ITVBe this Wednesday.
Wishing the GC a “the very, very best Christmas and incredible new year” Robbie tells her in a sweet video message: “Good luck with the new single with Darren, it’s a cracker.
“Thank you for making me smile and thank you for making me laugh, we need more of that on our televisions.”
The former Take That star has been glued to her reality show during lockdown, recently confessing to Alan Carr how he’d binged the GC’s reality show with wife Ayda.

Robbie – who shares a mutual love of aliens and the supernatural with Gemma – gave a shout out to her on Podcasts From The Edge, telling her:
‘By the way can I just clarify, I really enjoyed your show GC. Just in case she is listening!’
Gemma is firm pals with West End star Darren after they appeared on Celebrity Big Brother together in 2016.
The pair became a hit after the now infamous scene when an upset Gemma screamed “I’m claustrophobic Darren” at the 52-year-old singer during a bust-up in the house.
