The Spanish tactician was previously 4/1 to be given the boot before May’s final round of fixtures.
But another miserable weekend has seen his odds shorten to 6/4.
The Gunners were comfortably beaten by north London rivals Tottenham on Sunday.
Son Heung-min opened the scoring with a terrific curling effort before turning provider for talisman Harry Kane.
The result left Arteta’s side slumped in 15th position – six points above Fulham.
They’ve also lost SIX of their opening 11 top-flight fixtures and have the fourth-lowest goal tally in the division.

Coral’s John Hill said: “Arsenal’s miserable start to the Premier League season continues and after defeat in the North London Derby.
“Mikel Arteta’s odds have been slashed to leave the Gunners before the season concludes.”
With Arteta’s future under increasing scrutiny.
Talk has turned to who could replace the 38-year-old in north London with six-time Serie A winner Massimiliano Allegri the current favourite at 2/1.
