A 26-YEAR-OLD man has been shot dead in a quiet Yorkshire street – as a suspect was arrested on suspicion of murder.
A man was heard crying “help me” as shots rang out in Huddersfield about 9pm on Saturday – with emergency services rushing to the scene.

The victim was found on Ripon Avenue and taken to hospital but tragically, he died a short time later.
And one local today told Examiner Live he heard a man crying “help me” after the shooting.
He said: “I could hear a man shouting for help – ‘help me, help me’.
“My uncle went out to help and there was this guy in a white car who had been shot.”
Homicide detectives are now quizzing a man on suspicion of murder.
He remains in police custody.
