OLIVIA Wilde hinted at a romance with Harry Styles FOUR months ago and revealed she did a victory jig when he signed up to be in her movie.
It was revealed yesterday that the pair are now dating after meeting on the set of Don’t Worry Darling.
However, Olivia, 36, had been hinting for months at the romance after she publicly praised Harry several times.
In November, the actress said she danced for joy when she knew they would be working together on her new film.
She told Vogue magazine: “I did a little victory dance when I heard that we officially had Harry in the film, because we knew that he has a real appreciation for fashion and style.
“This movie is incredibly stylistic. It’s very heightened and opulent, and I’m really grateful that he is so enthusiastic about that element of the process—some actors just don’t care.”
The director was very impressed with his performance in the 2016 movie Dunkirk, saying she was blown away by his “openness and commitment.”
Olivia also described him as a ‘modern man’ and the spearhead of his generation.
She added: “It’s pretty powerful and kind of extraordinary to see someone in his position redefining what it can mean to be a man with confidence.”
Wilde also leapt to Harry’s defence when he was criticised for outfits he wore when he posed for Vogue magazine.
One tweet read: “There is no society that can survive without strong men. The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence. It is an outright attack. Bring back manly men”, to which Olivia responded: “You’re pathetic.”
This past weekend Harry and Olivia Wilde were spotted sneaking into his Los Angeles mansion after attending a wedding together.
It was confirmed on Monday the pair were dating and pals have revealed their friendship quickly grew into romance after shooting began in the US last year.
A source said: “They clicked immediately – they’re both very artistic, passionate people and it was one of those things where straight away everyone could see they had a spark.
“It’s no surprise something has happened, but now they’re quite open about it and out and about as a couple.”

Olivia split with her ex Jason Sudeikis at the start of 2020, but they only announced it at the end of last year.
A statement from People Magazine read: “It’s been amicable and they’ve transitioned into a great co-parenting routine. The children are the priority and the heart of the family’s relationship.”
Wilde and Sudeikis share son Otis Alexander, 6, and daughter Daisy Josephine, 4.
After they began dating in 2011, the pair had been engaged since 2013 before ending their relationship in 2020.
