Yesterday, the Ex On The Beach star detailed his police “rap sheet” – saying he’s been charged with harassment, exposure, voyeurism and obstructing an officer.

Since sharing the video on his new YouTube channel, the star’s has been mocked on social media for misunderstanding the meaning of voyeurism, which he is charged with, believing it relates to going “on a voyage”.
He said: “… I think voyeurism because I’ve been to Dubai and I’ve gone on a voyage – I’m getting nicked for travelling to Dubai because I’ve been on a voyage.
“Do you blame Captain Cook for sailing the seven seas? No you don’t. So right now I can’t talk about the case.
Yesterday, he revealed he’s been charged with harassment, exposure, voyeurism and obstructing an officer[/caption]“It’s under investigation. I’m on bail until 2 February. Right now they’ve got my passport.”
Voyeurism is the act of getting sexual gratification from watching unsuspecting people while they undress, are naked, or engage in sexual activities.
The crime falls until Section 67 of the Sexual Offences Act of 2003 in the UK and there are four subsections under voyeurism.
These include; Getting sexual pleasure while watching another person doing a private act and they have not consented.
Operating equipment with the intention of having them or someone else watching for sexual gratification from an unconsenting person doing a private act.
Recording an unconsenting person doing a private act and does with intention of them or someone else getting sexual gratification.
Installing equipment, or constructs or adapts a structure or part of a structure with the intention to watching an unconsenting person doing a private act for sexual gratification.
If found guilty of voyeurism, it carries a sentence of up to two years in prison.
The Ex On The Beach star returned from Dubai, where he’s been staying since before Christmas, on Friday[/caption]Weighing in on the misunderstanding, many people took to Twitter to share their disbelief.
One penned: “Stephen Bear got arrested for voyeurism & the dude really thought it was because he went on a VOGAGE to Dubai. Can’t deal with that tbh”.
“Stephen Bear should get extra charges for thinking voyeurism means going on a voyage,” another wrote.
A third penned: “Stephen bear has been charged with voyeurism and he said it’s because he went on a voyage to Dubai..”.
Essex Police insisted yesterday that nobody had been charged in connection with their investigation.
The force repeated a statement saying: “A 31-year-old man from Loughton, who was arrested on suspicion of disclosing private sexual images or film without consent with intent to cause distress, voyeurism, harassment and obstructing a police officer, has been released on bail until 10 February.”
