THE SECRET Service arrested a Texas man found near Vice President Kamala Harris’ house with guns and ammo inside his car.
Secret Service officers stopped Paul Murray, 31, of San Antonio just after noon in DC, right outside the Naval Observatory, which contains Harris’ residence.
A man was arrested outside Vice President Kamala Harris’ home[/caption]DC Metro police received an intelligence bulletin from Texas for his arrest just hours after they found a rifle and ammunition in his car, which was parked in a garage in downtown Washington D.C.
Harris does not currently live at the Observatory as it undergoes renovations. Instead, she and the Second Gentleman are residing at the Blair House near the White House.
Authorities charged Murray with carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying a rifle or shotgun outside of a business, possession of unregistered ammunition and possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device.
A former Capitol Hill staffer who lives near the Naval Observatory witnessed the arrest earlier today.

Leyden’s video shows Murray surrounded by a handful of police in the grass. Beside them is a bike laying on its side.
“I saw that kind of scraggly looking guy, cuffed,” added Leyden.
The man’s motive is still being investigated, but a DC source apparently told Fox 5 that the man supposedly wanted to talk to the president.
Police sources told the Texas news channel that Murray was a former Army drone operator who started service in 2010 before being medically discharged in 2014.
He was experiencing paranoid delusions and thought the government was after him, authorities said of Murray at the time of his arrest. That’s when he purchased an AR-15 and told his mother he was heading to DC to “take care of his problem.”
Documents show Murray complained to police that he wasn’t getting adequate support from Veteran’s Affairs and was not taking his prescribed medication.
