QUEER Eye star Tan France has announced he and his husband Rob are expecting their first child together this summer.
The 37-year-old Netflix personality and celebrity stylist shared the exciting news with a shirtless photo of himself, holding up a sonogram.
Tan and his husband Rob are expecting a baby via surrogate[/caption]He wrote alongside the photo: “So happy to finally share that WE’RE HAVING A BABY!!
“No, I’m not pregnant, despite this VERY realistic pic.
“With the greatest gift/help of the most wonderful surrogate, Rob and I are lucky enough to be on our way to being parents, this summer.
“Something we’ve wanted for soo many years. Our hearts are so full right now. I cannot wait to hold this baby, and to show him so much love.”
Tan’s friends, fans, and Queer Eye co-stars rushed to the comments to share their “excitement” over the baby news.
“So happy for you!!!! I’m so proud of you and Rob you are two of the sweetest most genuine people in the world & this is the most exciting news ever,” Jonathan Van Ness gushed.
Karamo Brown also sent his well-wishes, writing: “Yay!!!!!! Uncle Momo is going to spoil this baby!!!!!!”
Antoni Porowski joined in on the fun, commenting: “Now I know what it’s like to cry tears of joy and be turned on simultaneously thank you and congrats boys!!!!”
Tan’s Queer Eye co-stars gushed over the baby news[/caption]Tan previously spoke about his desire to be a father in an interview with NPR’s Terry Gross, where he admitted he wanted “six kids.”
“I’ve wanted children since I was 19, 20. If I’d had a stable relationship at that time, I would have desperately tried to have children,” he admitted.
During the September 2019 conversation, he shared frustration over the fact that “surrogacy for gay men costs a heck of a lot.”
“I was going to be a stay-at-home dad, which is something I’ve wanted for many, many, many years. And so that was the plan,” he explained.
“And I actually — crazily, I still want six. I don’t know if that’s going to happen, but yeah, I still want six children.”
