ERLING HAALAND rewarded a brave young fan who ran onto the pitch by giving him his autograph.
Borussia Dortmund were playing a pre-season friendly against Athletic Bilbao at the AFG Arena when the youngster interrupted play.
Erling Haaland quickly signed the fan’s shirt before escorting him off the pitch[/caption]And he timed his moment to perfection, with Haaland and the rest of the players gathered around the goal in preparation for a corner.
Haaland spotted the boy and accepted his request to sign his football shirt.
The Norweigan then escorted the child off the pitch and left him on the sidelines, looking a little like a lost puppy.
A steward then escorted him back to the stands with his mission accomplished.
Haaland took to Twitter after the match to reveal his excitement at playing again but did not make a note of his interaction with the fan.
It is not the first time a young supporter has shown the courage to invade the pitch to greet a star.
In 2019 a 10-year-old Liverpool fan ran onto the pitch at the end of a Carabao Cup match between the Reds and MK Dons.
