1. Ederson (£4.0m) – 25.5% ownership
Our number one pick is also the most popular choice among Dream Team managers.
The Brazilian is Man City’s first-choice keeper and he was a key player during the 21-game winning streak that essentially won them the Premier League last season.
His sensational kicking also makes him an outsider to chip in with an assist or two to give you some bonus points.
Ederson registered the most clean sheets in the league last season with 19.
2. Mendy (£4.0m) – 12.6% ownership
The Senegal international was the line last in a very solid defence throughout most of 2020/21.
His arrival to the Premier League was helped by Thomas Tuchel’s sturdy tactics as he kept 16 clean sheets but it was his efforts in the Champions League that really caught the eye.
A clean sheet in the final allowed him to finish the season as the outright best keeper, edging out his opposite number on the night, Ederson.
Tuchel masterminded an astonishing 18 clean sheets in all competitions, despite only being appointed in January.

3. Alisson (£4.0m) – 13.9% ownership
Alisson endured a tough season last term, but who didn’t at Anfield?
We’re expecting the commanding keeper to bounce back next season as Liverpool look to regain the Premier League title.
His chances of clean sheets will be boosted by the return of Virgil Van Dijk as Jurgen Klopp can look forward to pairing the Dutchman with new signing Ibrahima Konate.
Judgement call[/caption]4 Dean Henderson (£3.0m) – 4.9% ownership
We believe next season could be a coming-of-age campaign for Man United’s academy graduate.
After five loan spells, the stage is set for him to continue where he left off at the end of last season and cement his status as the Red Devils’ No1 above David De Gea (£3.0m).
His relatively low ownership reflects the uncertainty around Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s pecking order but whoever gets the nod has huge potential to provide healthy returns.
The imminent arrival of Raphael Varane should increase Man United’s clean sheets.
5. Emi Martinez (£3m) – 10.8% ownership
Lastly, an unsurprisingly popular choice in the form of Aston Villa’s custodian.
Fresh from fulfilling his dream of winning Copa America with Argentina, Martinez will be raring to go after keeping 15 clean sheets last season.
He may not have won the Golden Glove but many experts believe he was the best keeper on display in 2020/21.
Dean Smith’s side start the new term with favourable fixtures so Martinez looks like a smart choice.
