Reports started circulating on August 10, 2021 that the pair had started dating.
Until now, Jennifer and David never had an off-screen romance, however, after reconnecting on the set of the reunion episode they have reportedly been spending a lot of time together.
The popular pairing, who won the world’s hearts as on/off couple Rachel Green and Ross Gellar in the hit 90s sitcom, are said to have made fiction a reality.
A source told Closer magazine: “After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there.
“They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.”
The insider added that Jen has been cooking dinners for David at her home and they’ve been spotted visiting a winery in Santa Barbara together.
However, a rep for David has denied this is the case.
Were they dating during friends?
Despite playing an on/off couple, Jen and David never actually dated during their time on the show – which ran from 1994 to 2004.
However, during the HBO Max Friends Reunion special, they both dropped the shocking news that they had shared a secret offscreen crush during their time on the show.

Creators Marta Kauffman, David Crane, and Kevin Bright later spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about when the pair developed their romantic feelings.
“It was a very hot topic on the set because the electricity between them in the scenes was like, ‘Oh my God, they can’t be acting that, there’s got to be something!’ Everybody was suspicious that something was going on,” Kevin told the outlet.
“People made up their own rumors at a certain point.”
Are Jennifer and David both single?
The two Friends stars are both currently free and single.
Jen divorced her second husband Justin Theroux in 2017.
Meanwhile David parted ways with his wife Zoe Buckman that same year.
