One disbelieving reply to her tweet said: “That would be insane if you were able to return to pro wrestling.”
Paige has not wrestled in the WWE since injuring her neck in the ring in December 2017, before announcing her retirement from the sport five months later.
She played a huge role in leading the evolution of the women’s sport and is hugely popular within the WWE.
The Norwich born beauty is a former WWE Divas champion, and was also the first winner of the Women’s championship within the WWE’s brand NXT.
She has been forced into managerial roles since her retirement from the ring and has spent time as general manager of Smackdown.
It’s not the first time she has teased fans with a return to the ring, with fans sent into a frenzy in February as Paige again hinted at a return to the ring.
And Paige has echoed her most recent statement on her Twitch channel via fightful, telling fans:
“I’m not f*****g done.
“I’m not done yet. This is going to be my comeback story. I’m inspired. I’m so inspired by the people coming back to wrestling and the more I think about it, I’m like, ‘Okay, mentally, I’m ready to go.’

“I’m going to start working around, getting in the ring a little bit. Maybe. We’ll see. This is not saying I’m making a comeback tomorrow.
“It’s a long f*****g road. I still have to get cleared by doctors, I have to get cleared by WWE. It’s such a big process, but emotionally, I’m ready.”
Paige’s contract with the WWE runs out in June 2022, but the Brit professional wrestler is working hard to secure a return in a bid for her contract to be extended.
