His heart is still functioning, bringing along with it the power of love.
Who is Bob Harper?
Born August 18, 1965, the 56-year-old is a personal trainer, television host, best-selling author and advocate for heart health.
Harper got his start on The Biggest Loser in 2004, where he was one of the personal trainers for 16 seasons. In 2015, Harper took over as the host of the show, replacing Alison Sweeney.
Harper has had three number one best-selling books on the New York Times list, with titles such as The Skinny Rules and Jumpstart to Skinny.
On the new season of The Biggest Loser in 2020, Harper made it his goal to focus on overall well being, not on the idea of being skinny.

Is Bob Harper married?
Bob Harper has been married to partner Anton Gutierrez since 2019.
The marriage was announced in a June 29, 2019 post to Instagram.
“Well this happened yesterday,” the post read, accompanying a photo of his and his partner’s hands with panther-shaped gold rings on their left ring fingers.
The personal trainer tagged both Cartier and partner Guitierrez in the post, hashtagging “#loveislove”.
Anton Gutierrez is an actor and set decorator who mainly stays out of the spotlight.
When did Bob Harper have a heart attack?
In February of 2017, Harper was working out at a gym in New York City when he blacked out and collapsed. Harper woke up days later in the hospital, learning he had survived a massive heart attack and gone into cardiac arrest.
September 29, 2021, is World Heart Day, and Bob Harper spoke on the Today Show about heart health.
“If I’ve survived this heart attack, I can have a full life that is strong and happy and fulfilling,” Harper said on the show.
Harper works alongside organization Survivors Have Heart to help bring awareness to overall health and well being and the affect it has on one’s heart.
One causes of a heart attack can be genetics, which you’re able to get tested for. Harper continues to encourage exercise and a balanced diet to help maintain heart health.
