It comes after Mark pulled out of the huge running event earlier this month due to a calf injury.
On the morning of the 26 mile run, the reality favourite shared the devastating news.
He suffered a tear in his calf four prior, and despite his best efforts, a final visit to his physio showed that it hasn’t healed.
Speaking from the physio table, a disappointed Mark told fans: “I’m currently with George Cooper, a physio I trust. I came here about four weeks ago with a slight tear in my calf. It got worse.
George then said: “It hasn’t had time to repair. It’s still not bad but in two or three weeks time it may be all right but if you want me to treat you like a normal client I’d highly advise you don’t even start this marathon. If you want to, strap it up and see how far you go. You could make this much much worse.”
“If I do it, it’s going to be 10 times worse. Devastating after all this work.”
Just days before Mark revealed that a leg injury might jeopardise his chance to take part in this year’s event.
During an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, Mark explained a doctor warned him to pull out of the historic race.
After Lorraine quizzed the star on his marathon training, he said: “I’ve got a slight injury. I’ve got a tear in my calf.
“It is annoying it’s upsetting really cos I trained so hard. I don’t know, I’ve just got to sit and think about it, that’s why I’m a little startled this morning.
“He’s advised me not to run but …”
The star went on: “If I wasn’t doing it Sunday I would do the next one, which comes around in April, because I’ve trained now.
