Steve Coogan sweeps aside white locks as he transforms into paedophile Jimmy Savile

STEVE Coogan brushes his long white hair from his face yesterday as he completes his transformation into paedophile TV personality Jimmy Savile.

The comedian, 56, is playing the Jim’ll Fix It host in a BBC drama called The Reckoning.

He filmed on a beach in Conwy, including an attack on a young girl.

He was photographed in character as Jimmy having fish and chips alongside a camper van with his mother Agnes, played by Gemma Jones, 78.

Jimmy died in 2011 and was later revealed to be one of Britain’s most prolific sex offenders, assaulting people aged between five and 75 over a number of decades.

Last month the BBC defended its decision to create a series about Jimmy, saying “our primary intention with the drama is to give voice to the victims.”
