EASTENDERS’ Rocky faces being exposed as a conman and a liar this Christmas.
The businessman – who is played by actor Brian Conley in the BBC soap – is pretending to be Sonia Fowler’s dad Terry Cant – but is actually Tom Cotton.
Last month he decided to come clean and write a letter confessing to everything to Sonia.
But as he left it he suffered a heart attack and the letter was lost.
However at Christmas it will be found.
Rocky is stuck between a rock and a hard place as both Sonia and Kathy assume he’s spending Christmas with them so he hatches a plan.
Dotty is despondent but Rocky snaps at her with some offensive words about her mum.
Sonia’s oven is broken and Rocky proposes going to Kathy’s but Dotty is determined to ruin Rocky’s plan and suggests they call Stuart around to fix it.
As Stuart arrives, Dotty confronts Rocky about what he said about her mum.
Stuart hands Sonia a note he found with her name on it.Realising what it is, Rocky freezes – is his secret about to be revealed?

Actor Brian Conley teased: “Well, we all thought [the letter] was gone, and Dotty had taken it with various spam mail.
“So, he never expected this, there is a total surge of anxiety and panic and the feeling that this is going to ruin not just Christmas but everything, total panic!”

He added: “He can’t go there, he is backed in his corner, gone down the rabbit warren, and I don’t think he can even think about it for his own health!
“He is just trying to take one day at a time.
“I just don’t think he can think about it all in one go, the true implication, otherwise, it’s going to escalate and him having another heart attack.”
