RACE Around the World is finally coming back for its hotly anticipated third series.
BBC Two announced how eager fans could become a part of the popular travel show with applications closing in a matter of days.
Applications are open for the third series for Race Around the World[/caption]The Beebs is looking for teams of two above 18 years of age who can get the applications in by January 3.
“For many, the desire to travel the world has never been greater,” show producers advertised in the application.
“The urge to rebuild relationships and reconnect with loved ones has never felt more important and the longing to escape and learn have never been more present.”
BBC Two’s Race Across the World sees contestan ts take on the challenge of travelling thousands of miles, at ground level, across land and sea.
Those chosen will experience life as a local in some of the world’s most beautiful and remote locations, but on a limited budget and without the luxuries of flights, credit cards and modern technology.

The BBC said it was on the hunt for dynamic duos, looking for a big adventure.
It added: “Maybe the restrictions of the pandemic have sparked your wanderlust? Do you feel the need to re-evaluate an important relationship or share this journey with someone special?
