THERE’S nothing more annoying than doing a full face of makeup, finishing off with mascara and accidentally smudging it.

But one woman has come up with a genius hack to fix such mistakes – without also removing more of your makeup.

Makeup artist and influencer Rose Siard took to TikTok to reveal the amazing trick.

“You’re doing your mascara, we know what’s gonna happen – we already know,” she said as she dotted several smudges of mascara on top of her foundation, concealer and powder.

“I promise you – your day is not ruined,” she smiled.

“Now you wait. Let it completely dry. Give it five minutes. If you’ve got seven minutes, even better,” Rose advised.

She then took a dry spoolie and very gently, began to use it to dust away the mascara smudge – with the mark gone in seconds.

And, unlike other methods of removing mascara mistakes – such as cotton buds soaked in makeup remover – the rest of the makeup was left perfectly in tact.

“Crisis averted!” she grinned.

Beauty fans were quick to comment on the video, praising Rose for the hack.

“So you’re telling me didn’t have to remove all my makeup and start over ?!” one woman wrote.

“Omg this is brilliant,” someone else commented.

“What is this magic,” a third person questioned, while another person added: “I’m 48,i had no clue. Thank you!!”
