I’m a Chick-Fil-A employee and people always get mad when I tell them how we make our ‘fresh’ lemonade
A TIKTOKER who claims to be a Chick-fil-A employee revealed how the popular fast-food restaurant supposedly makes its lemonade.
There are no fresh lemons to be seen, and the internet is not happy.
A person who claimed to work at Chick-fil-A shared how the restaurant supposedly makes lemonade[/caption] She poured the ingredients together, added tap water, and then mixed[/caption]The apparent Chick-fil-A lemonade recipe was shared on the TikTok account of @bigniyyyyy, and it has garnered a great deal of attention.
The video showed the worker pouring a yellow liquid from a plastic bag into a bin and then adding a white substance, which is likely sugar, to the liquid.
Next, she added tap water to the bin and mixed all the ingredients together with a whisk.
The worker didn’t seem to be pleased with the lemonade, however, as in the caption of the video, she wrote: “Y’all love chick fil a lemonade” with two sick emojis.
Many viewers shared her sentiment.
“I thought it was fresh…” one disappointed user wrote, with many sharing they had the same expectation.

“You broke my heart,” another added.
“Only thing wrong is the sink water,” a third viewer complained.
While customers seem disheartened that Chick-fil-A doesn’t squeeze its lemonade freshly in the back of its stores, the restaurant’s menu does not advertise it as fresh.
The description online reads: “Classic lemonade using three simple ingredients: real lemon juice—not from concentrate, cane sugar, and water.”
However, not everyone was turned off by the video, as many people said they would continue ordering lemonade from Chick-fil-A.
“Honey I don’t care that’s the best lemonade I had in my life,” one satisfied customer wrote.
“Was this supposed to change my outtake on it?” another questioned.
Furthermore, some users who claimed to work at Chick-fil-A themselves said that their locations do freshly squeeze lemons for their lemonade.
Chick-fil-A is aware of the popular video and has commented on the truth about its process for making lemonade to The Sun.
“Chick-fil-A Lemonade is one of our most popular beverages, and to help ensure our Lemonade is always available for our guests, we extract lemon juice outside of the restaurant using state-of-the-art equipment, which helps Operators and their Team Members keep up with demand.
“Rest assured, we haven’t compromised on quality, this process still uses the highest quality lemons available to produce only real lemon juice.
“While our process has evolved, our regular Chick-fil-A Lemonade is prepared daily and still contains just three simple ingredients: real lemon juice, sugar and water.
“Additionally, each restaurant is equipped with a filtration system and that water is used daily to prepare our tea and lemonade and wash our fresh produce.”
The controversial video comes shortly after another popular dining establishment came under fire for supposedly cooking their lobster tails in the microwave.
