THE Apprentice has been engulfed in another fix row after furious fans say the show is a “total set up”.
On Thursday night’s episode of the BBC business show, the contestants were back in the boardroom and tasked with creating a non-alcoholic drink.
It comes as Nick Showering was chosen to be a project manager on a drinks task[/caption]Nick Showering, a 31-year-old finance manager from London, was nominated as a project manager by Lord Alan Sugar.
It comes after his skin was saved in the boardroom during the second week, with Lord Sugar vowing to make him lead the next task.
However, some fans weren’t buying the move after coming to the realisation that Nick’s business plan concerned the drinks industry.
Labelling the move as a fix, one disgruntled viewer questioned: “So, The Apprentice is a fix then?
“Nick’s business plan concerns drinks and he was made project manager on a drinks task.”
Also convinced that the show is fixed, someone else added: “The Apprentice must be rigged.
“How can Nick be chosen to become a project manager when his business plan revolves around the drinks industry?
A third, meanwhile, commented on Nick’s recent performance: “If Nick doesn’t get fired then the show is rigged.”
Lord Sugar, evidently unimpressed by Nick’s product, said the drink looked like “a sample he gave to his doctor last week”.
