IF you’re freshly done curls just aren’t lasting long enough, this trick may just save the day (or week!)
Rachel Lynsey, a new mum to baby Lily, is the owner of Parlr salon in Framingham, USA and swears by this hair trick that means she rarely uses heat on her hair.
Rachel owns a salon and photography studio called Parlr[/caption] She so rarely uses heat on her hair, yet her curls stay in[/caption]In a TikTok, which has 5 million views, she admitted that she only uses heat on her hair once a week but still have perfect waves, every day.
To achieve the curls the salon owner begins by drying her hair with a dyson airwrap but any hairdryer can do.
She wrote: “I do my hair once a week and don’t apply heat again thanks because of this last step.

Rachel’s secret to getting her hair style to last all week is in her hair scrunchie or the ‘Sleepy Tie.’
“I like to use it after I finish my blow outs to set my hair.” She said.
She instructed: “Wrap your hair around the arch. Secure with the scrunchie…and you can thank me in the morning.”
In another TikTok, Rachel showed what her hair looked like in the morning, after being in the scrunchie overnight.
Parlr is a combined salon, spa and photo studio all under one roof as Rachel likes to combine her interests and has been pursuing photography for 11 years.
For those worried they couldn’t get the same results at home Rachel reassured them that: “You can get similar results from a much cheaper unit like revlon or hot tools.”
As for those who wondered why she straightened her natural curls, Rachel wrote: “I love my curls but my straight hair is so much easier for me to manage! Curls require I wash my hair daily also and that is very drying.”
“It’s not a normal bun it’s a special bun – promise my hair is healthier than EVER,” Rachel said.
For those worried about hair breakage if they sleep with their hair up, Rachel said: “I have tested it on thousands of women and never heard anyone have it! Personally I’ve been using for 2 years and my hair has never been healthier.”
One said: “This doesn’t work for me sleeping, it might be because my hair is so long. However, its the BEST for working out and not messing up your hair.”
While a few were unsure as one wrote: “As soon as someone says trust me I immediately don’t”
