Staff at his school, Hearsall Community Academy said he’d made “super start” to life at school – and was already starting to excel in sports.
It reads: “I wish you so much luck next year and know that you will flourish and allow more of you to be shown to the world.”
The report was shared by his proud mum Cristina on Facebook.
Details of the report come after David’s dad paid tribute to his son saying: “We will never forget you.”
Dorinel posted the message alongside a picture of his son on Facebook yesterday afternoon.
A picture showed his son enjoying posing during a day out in the park while throwing a thumbs up to the camera.

Dozens of friends immediately posted messages saying they were praying for the little boy.
The tribute comes after The Sun revealed that the child’s gran has been detained and sectioned following his death.
Elena Anghel, 49, was held under the Mental Health Act.
The five-year-old was found dead at his home in Coventry on Tuesday with a stab wound.
Anghel had been initially arrested on suspicion of the murder of David-Mario after she was allegedly looking after him.
A close pal of the family said: “The mother was at work when it happened, and her husband was, too. The grandmother was the last person to see the boy alive.
“No one can understand how she came to have a knife in her hand. We just don’t know why.
“When I met her, she was always OK. She didn’t ever present any signs of a mental illness.”
Anghel was well-liked by locals in the Earlsdon area of Coventry.
Another friend said: “I’ve known Elena for many years. I’ve let my daughter stay with her when my wife and I have gone out. She is a very good person.”
Mario’s heartbroken parents, Cristina and Dorinel, yesterday paid tribute to their little boy.
They said: “He was the most beautiful child in the world. He was a happy boy, who was always smiling.”
A post mortem examination confirmed Mario died from a knife wound.
