OVER the years, there have been various ways of attempting to get perfect curls without using heat.
And while dressing gown belts and socks have had varying levels of success, one woman claims to have found the way to get perfect ringlets – using plastic straws.
Irincha took to TikTok to share her method of using straws and hairbands to get heatless curls[/caption]Irincha took to TikTok to share a video of herself with her rose gold hair in flawless curls, which were held in place with elastic bands.
To apply the straws, Irincha took a section of hair and wrapped it around the straw from the middle outwards, before then bending the straw in half and using bands to secure the two halves together.
She was quickly praised by viewers for the clever hack, with one writing: “I’m glad this popped us I’ve been wondering what I could use to do curls like this.”
“I done this before with my short hair and OMG the curls stayed for almost two wks.. it’s amazing,” another person commented.
“It’s giving me Betty spaghetti vibes and I love it,” a third wrote.
Others insisted the process of applying the straws would take too long.

“My daughter does this with her hair you need patience takes her two hours to put the straws in,” one mum wrote.
“I have so much hair it would take me 10 days to do this,” another person laughed.
And someone else added: “I really wanna try this just not got the patience to put them all in.”
The method gives tight ringlets rather than loose waves[/caption]“Who has time for that? Not worth it,” another comment read.
In other hair news, Stacey Solomon has debuted her newly-dyed plum hair, and it only cost her £5.
This woman was getting headaches from her thick, heavy hair so decided to shave half of it off.
And tie your hair up this way at night to wake up with frizz-free follicles in the morning.
