WE all love a freebie, and a woman has revealed how she pretended to be engaged on her girls holiday to get free stuff.
TikTok user Fran Starkey managed to get free champagne on her flight, drinks from rich strangers and even bagged money off her gondola ride.

On her @franstarkey account, she showed how she was simply going on a trip with her pals to Venice and decided to invent the fake backstory.
Fran showed herself wearing a ‘bride-to-be’ sash and a fake engagement ring.
She wrote: “Faking my engagement celebrations in Venice to get cheaper stuff.
“Free champers on the plane.
“Bride goes free on gondola (half price).
“Rich men buying us drinks to celebrate.
“Coffee made with extra love and free sides.”
Her video has racked up 260,000 views and people loved the idea.
One said: “might have to do this.”
A second commented: “this seems like a fun idea.”
And another wrote: “Wherever I go I always tell them it’s our anniversary. Generally get room upgrades in hotels and free drinks lol.”
