The homeowners from Belfast are at their wit’s end after being blocked in by the motorists – and hit the roof when one infuriating parker said it was “no big deal.”

The pair have shared a string of TikTok videos as they suffer each day with inconsiderate motorists.
Exasperated, they resorted to penning notes saying: “Your parking is NOT okay. You have blocked in my car – in my driveway! I am now stuck!!”
While another message read: “You have parked in front of my driveway. I need to park MY CAR.”
They sellotaped various of the notes on to the windows of the offenders and wait to see if they drive off or react to the sassy messages.
“He’s raging!”, they say as one driver snatches the note off his window.

One one occasion, one of the women films as her flatmate clashes with a driver over the notes pinned to her car.
She later tells her followers in the comments that the woman said: “It’s not much of a big deal!”
On one occasion, she shows three different cars parked across the exit to her driveway on three separate days, saying that some of them are there for hours at a time.
The woman added in the comments: “It’s annoying because you guys only see 30 seconds, but some of these guys park for 1 to 2 hours, and we need in and out of our driveway quite often.”
Clearly a chronic issue, followers suggested ways to stop the problem.
One said: “You might have to cover some or all the cost but I’m sure the local council can authorise white lines to help people realise there’s access needed.”
While another suggested: “Can’t you put some cones down to stop people parking there?”
Another joked: “Next time use super glue!”
TRAPPED AT HOME
“For people who think she is not doing anything wrong it is an offence to park in front of a dropped kerb,” warned one.
And indeed, according to the Highway Code, it’s illegal to park in front of a dropped kerb.
Vehicles parked across dropped kerbs can be ticketed, even if they’re not fully blocking it.
So it’s possible for residents to contact their local authority to quickly issue a fine.
However, if someone parks IN your driveway, there’s not much you can do about it.
Homeowners stuck with a stranger’s car on their driveway have been told neither police nor local authorities have the power to move it.
Police are likely to acknowledge an act of trespassing has taken place, but you’ll need to wait for an eviction order from the courts before they can be compelled to leave.
