“IF YOU see something, say something.”
One Instacart driver received millions of views after she shared a video claiming she saved a man’s life by dropping off a delivery.
Jessica Higgs claims she goes “above and beyond” for all her Instacart customers[/caption] The Instacart driver was emotional while telling her story[/caption]“I’m a little emotional right now,” said Instacart driver Jessica Higgs.
Higgs started off her alleged story by pointing out that the customer placing the order was the daughter of a man who couldn’t shop for himself.
“I’m going the extra mile for this customer like I always do,” she said.
“For whatever reason this time I was going even farther.”
She claims that the daughter advised Higgs to just leave the order on her dad’s porch, as one normally would for their customer.
“I get there and something was telling me, no, you got to help this man out,” she said while wiping tears.

Even though you’re not supposed to go inside someone’s house for an order drop-off, Higgs claims that she used her judgment and brought the groceries inside for the man.
“You’re not supposed to, but I did,” she said.
Out of concern, Higgs claims to have messaged the daughter through the app before confirming the order drop-off and said, “If I say that the order is complete I won’t be able to message you and I want to tell you this.”
“It’s very unprofessional of me to say something and I wasn’t going to, I never talk, I always just put the groceries down and leave,” she continued the message.
“He’s not doing good, he’s sick, there’s a propane tank in there and I was in there maybe five feet and I got dizzy, there’s gotta be a leak,” she claims.
“He might not be doing good because of this leak.”
The driver then claimed that the daughter responded by saying she would send her son out to check on him.
She then allegedly changed her tip for Higgs from $14 to $100.
“I’m crying because of what she commented this morning,” Higgs told her viewers.
“Thank you so much, once my son went to check on my dad it turned out it definitely was leaking, you definitely saved my dad and my younger son’s life!!!” the woman wrote.
“I’m just an Instacart worker but if you see something, say something, I did and I’m so happy I did,” Higgs shared.
Higgs received hundreds of thousands of comments on her video, many saying she is a hero for what she did.
One woman wrote “Please don’t say you are “just an Instacart worker” that makes it sound like your job isn’t important, you are important, and you are amazing” and the official TikTok account said “you are amazing, thank you for sharing this with all of us.”
