BBC Breakfast’s Carol Kirkwood was left red-faced after Jon Kay called her out for “wind” during her live forecast.
The meterologist stood on the roof of Broadcasting House today to give the daily weather update – but it wasn’t long before Jon was making cheeky fart jokes.

Carol, 59, wore black puffer cost as she presented the segment, explaining that much of the UK could expect to see rain.
A strong gust of wind combined with the busy London traffic was heard on Carol’s microphone as she finished her report.
Jon joked: “Complete with sound effects there – we just got a little burst of wind from your microphone.”
Carol was quick to pull him up on the cheeky comment to clarify that the noise was not coming from her.
She laughed and replied: “I’m glad you said it was on my microphone!”

“In the air, yes!” Jon reassured her as he and co-host Nina Warhurst burst into fits of laughter. “Thank you very much indeed.”
This isn’t the first time that BBC Breakfast has had viewers in stitches.
As loved-up couples celebrated Valentine’s Day yesterday, Nina Warhurst decided to kick-start her own celebrations by wearing a stunning white top with a red love-heart design.
But things soon turned awkward for the BBC Breakfast host due to a wardrobe blunder with one of her co-stars.
While chatting with Carol, Nina revealed that Holly Hamilton had turned up to the BBC Studios with the same top.
This led to her co-star being forced to change.
“We’ve just noticed the beautiful hearts on your dress – I’ve gone for a similar theme this morning!”, Nina told Carol.
Carol replied: “Oh, you have to on Valentine’s Day, don’t you Nina? Yours is very nice – nice red top!”
Nina returned the compliment by saying: “As is yours!”
She then added: “And actually, Holly came in in the exact same top as me this morning, and she’s had to quickly change so that we weren’t matching!”
