But ITV bosses had better be prepared for the worst after upsetting some of the much-loved artists on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

I’m told they are angry over arrangements for the grand End of the Show Show in the first of the new series of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Initial plans had included a massive bevy of the drag hit’s former contestants taking part.
But after a lot of excitable chatter to friends and family about how they were getting to appear on one of the best and biggest shows on telly, it sadly all went quiet.
Instead, their old hero RuPaul and the three previous winners of the UK version of the show – The Vivienne, Lawrence Chaney and Krystal Versace – are going to be appearing this weekend as a foursome.
American legend Ru will be the guest announcer, introducing the Geordie duo’s latest weird and wacky efforts.
And the drag trio will perform on television in what bosses are calling a “world exclusive first”.

A drag queen source said: “ITV are delighted to have Ru and the three winning queens on the show, but not everyone is quite so pleased.
“In the early planning for the episode, a whole load of the drag stars were asked if they wanted to do take part and about their availability.
“Cue a load of them telling anyone who will listen that they were going to be a part of Ant and Dec’s show.
“Sadly, somewhere down the line everyone decided to just go with Ru and the three winners, and it’s left a lot of them upset.”
Also taking part in the first episode of Ant and Dec’s 17th series of the epic Saturday night show, is The Sun’s very own columnist, Jeremy Clarkson.
He was the unsuspecting victim of a prank where the lads pretended to be eco-protestors.
They vandalised his farm shop and dumped soil on his car.
Watch out lads, or the Drag Queens might do something similar to you.

Kerry Katona, Kim Woodburn and Sam Thompson lead the field alongside First Dates’ Laura Tott, Love Island’s Toby Aromolaran and Happy Mondays legend Shaun Ryder.
Also in the mix are Made In Chelsea’s Maeva D’Ascanio, TV presenter Zeze Millz, footballer Stevo The Madman and comedian Paul Chowdhry.
It’s airing later this year.

Steve’s a street fighter
I’M A Celebrity’s Simon Gregson is well and truly back at his day job on Corrie after his stint in the castle.
A huge storyline centred on Simon’s character Steve McDonald comes to a head this week on the ITV soap.

Steve comes to blows with his daughter’s boyfriend Jacob, a former drug dealer.
He orders the lad to stay away after Amy’s drink is spiked.
Jack James Ryan, who plays Jacob, said: “Steve sees red and punches Jacob and he’s totally shocked by this.
“He didn’t expect Steve to do that.
“It was really exciting. The high-action scenes are always great fun. We had a fight arranger, and Simon and I went through the actions.”
'Unforgettable journey'

He wrote on Instagram: “It’s been 16 series, 6 road trips across America & Europe, 2 BAFTAs and a mud bath I’d rather forget.”
