Who are The Rich Brothers?
The Rich brothers Harry and David are born in Brecon, a small town in South Wales surrounded by beautiful countryside, on the edge of Brecon Beacons National Park.
Harry and David both attribute their interest in gardening and horticulture to growing up in the countryside.
Harry says: “We didn’t realise it at the time but we were very lucky to grow up in an environment which allowed us to be outside so often.
“We want to show others how to make the most of their outdoor space, be it a garden or small urban balcony.”
The pair have worked together on many gardening projects, and went on to win the RHS Chelsea Flower Show twice – the youngest team to do so back in 2015.
They also own and run Rich Landscapes, an award winning landscape and garden design company, where they create breathtaking garden makeovers.

They share their work on Instagram, @therichbrothers, where they’ve amassed more than 61k followers.
They’re also documenting their first personal gardening project, Harry’s countryside property Ty Gardd in Wales – you can read more about it on their Ty Gardd website.
Aside from gardening, Harry spends most of his time with his family – he welcomed his second child with his wife Sue in September 2021.
Together, the family live in a cottage in Brecon, the hometown of the brothers.
What TV shows have Harry and David Rich been in?
Harry and David began presenting Garden Rescue alongside gardening legend Charlie Dimmock when the show first began.
Together, they have worked on 81 episodes between 2016 and 2021.
The brothers also often shared presenting duties with horticulture expert Arit Anderson since 2019.
In May 2021, BBC announced the three experts would be leaving Garden Rescue.
A statement at the time read: “Arit Anderson and the Rich brothers have decided to leave the programme after this year, however, they will continue to feature in the latest series starting this month.”
In their place, BBC introduced three new experts – Lee Burkill, Flo Headlam and Chris Hull.
Alex McLead, commissioning editor for BBC Daytime, said: “I am so excited to welcome Lee, Chris and Flo to our Garden Rescue family and I can’t wait for viewers to enjoy their fantastic garden designs.
“I’d also like to say a big thank you to Harry, David and Arit whose passion and creativity have made the show what it is today.”
What have they said about their Garden Rescue co-host Charlie Dimmock?
Harry and David grew up watching Ground Force, the original garden makeover series to have Charlie Dimmock as a host.
They’ve admitted that their interest in gardening started with a childhood crush on Charlie.
David says: “I loved Ground Force and grew up with it. I secretly had a crush on Charlie.”
Harry adds: “She once told us how she starred in a saucy calendar shoot when she was younger and it outsold former lingerie model Caprice.
“I think she’s quite chuffed about that.”
