Some furious customers took to social media to report they have been pushed into their overdraft and were unable to pay bills as a result.

The bank took to Twitter to post that it was aware of “some issues related to duplicate payments” on some customers’ accounts.
It added that it was “working hard” to fix the issues – but customers have been left worried and angry about when they’ll get their money back.
One customer said: “Come on TSB, you have left me with £11 after taking many duplicate transactions, when will this be rectified??”
While another posted: “This has pushed me even further into my overdraft which TSB will inevitably charge me for at the end of the month despite it being YOUR error?”

One customer raged: “You have taken six double payments totalling £160+ from me, leaving me nearly in an unarranged overdraft. What are you playing at? Fix it now!”
Some thought that they were being scammed after seeing payments leave their accounts twice.
“I’ve cancelled my card. As I thought it was a scam,” one customer tweeted.
While others said they would not be able to afford paying their bills because of the error.
“Any idea on timeframe of refunds, as I won’t be able to buy electric if it takes too long,” one customer tweeted.
The Sun approached TSB for a comment.
