I’ve accidentally got pregnant but my husband says there’s no way we can cope financially or mentally with another child.

We already have three and he’s actually booked in for a vasectomy next month.
I’m 32 and he’s 34. Our kids are aged seven, five and three.
Last week, I found out I was pregnant again even though we used a condom.
The timing couldn’t be worse. As I get pregnant very easily but can’t take the Pill, my husband had agreed to have the snip.
As soon as I told him, he said: “You have to have a termination.”
He won’t discuss it. He said our family is complete and we can’t cope with any more kids.
But I can’t go through with an abortion. I feel like I did when I was pregnant with my other children – an immediate bond.

I’m not anti-abortion but I know I will regret it forever if I go through with it.
This baby feels like it was meant to be.

DEIDRE SAYS: I’m sorry, there are no easy answers here. If you abort, you may feel guilty and resentful forever.
If you do have the baby, it could cause problems in your marriage, and make life less comfortable for your family.
Don’t make any rash decisions. Take your time and talk it through with your husband and GP, and think what’s best for you all.
