David replied: “I’m sure I could work something out.”
Alan and Paul announced in a joint statement in January they were calling quits on their three year marriage.
A statement released by Alan’s representative read: “After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.
“They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways. We request that their privacy is respected at this sensitive time.”
Drayton later shared his own post on Instagram telling fans he had “checked himself into rehab” to protect himself.

He explained it was “not an easy step to take” but was aware it “was the right one going forward” for himself and Alan.
Drayton added: “These last couple of years have been challenging to say the least, as they have been for so many others.

Alan’s ex headed to rehab earlier in the year, saying he took “full accountability” for his actions when he drove his car while four times over the legal drink-drive limit last year.
