A MOM of one has shared her super fun, yet simple sensory activity she created for her young one.
The activity is meant to keep the baby entertained for a long time and uses just water and food coloring.
The mom said her simple playtime activity gets used frequently in her home[/caption] It only requires food coloring and water, plus a few toys from around the house[/caption]“It’s so simple,” the mom, who goes by @chloeelizabeth2409 online, gushed.
“We do this activity a lot!”
Showing how to set it up, Chloe filled a pitcher with water and then added some blue food coloring to it.
Next, she filled her son, Jack’s, highchair tray with the water.

She then added a few under-the-water themed bathtub toys to the tray, plus a small whale toy that sprays water out of it in multiple places.
The resulting setup for her son was a super immersive and hands-on play area.
Chloe mentioned that parents can add bubbles and warned that it does get a bit messy.
“We are going to get a waterproof bib as he got soaked today!” she wrote in her video.

In conclusion, she said her son “loves” the activity – and so do viewers.
Chloe’s comment section was filled with messages of approval, with one person writing: “Such a great idea, I am totally doing this tomorrow.”
Another added: “I just did this the other day and my baby loved it!”
A third mother said the activity would be just as fun for her as it would be for her kid, and Chloe agreed that it is an enjoyable activity for all involved.
And in response to a viewer who was concerned about food coloring staining the child’s fingers, Chloe replied: “I use the Dr Oteker food gel, only a tiny amount.”
