Mike Redding and Terri Villanueva, owners of Oregon-based company Mike and Terri’s Resale, bought three pallets worth of Costco goods valued at $5,506 and paid $2,386.
While they admitted they had not ordered from Costco in quite some time because it’s rather pricey and therefore less rewarding to resell, they finally made the move to buy some product after this particular order caught their eyes.
It certainly paid off because they believe they will nearly break even on their purchase after selling only half of their order, which leaves the rest of the profits going directly into their pockets.
This means that if the rest of their haul goes as well as their first unwrapping, they’re set to make about $1,000 per pallet.

So, what did they score?
MIKE AND TERRI’S HAUL
Redding and Villanueva’s pallets ended up coming with a large amount of pricey outdoor and gardening items.
The first and possibly most underwhelming items they unwrapped were two aluminum lawn chairs.
They retailed for $139.99 and Mike and Terri said they were able to sell them for $40 each.

Next, they found four perfect condition and untouched bar stools, which sold at Costco for $679.99 per set of two.
Redding and Villanueva approximated they could sell each pair for $400.
Redding was particularly excited about this find, saying they “hit it” on that discovery.
The last two products were also big-ticket items.
They found a 200 cubic foot garden shed that retailed at Costco for $1,004.85 and a 106 cubic foot storage shed selling for $539.99.
They believe they can get $750 and $375 each, respectively.
It seems like their intuition really paid off.
Redding and Villanueva are far from the first people to take advantage of discounted pallets from large retailers.
Liquidation expert and educator David Guzman took viewers along on his unboxing journey with an Amazon pallet.

He paid $400 for a box of returns worth $3,000.
Furthermore, another reseller paid $500 for Amazon and Best Buy returns and expected to make more than $4,500 by reselling the goods.
