GREEDY pump bosses are now raking in £30million a day as they fail to slash prices.
Campaigners say the cost of filling up should have already dropped by 20p a litre thanks to a fall in global oil prices and the recent cut in fuel duty.
Instead fuel giants are pocketing as much as 29p per litre in profit on petrol, statistics show.
And they are making 35.7p on diesel — up from an average 9p over the last decade.
The £30million daily profits stands in contrast to £9million in 2015, when prices were at their lowest in recent years.
The revelation comes as forecourts face shortages caused by eco-warriors blockading oil processing plants.

Huge queues were seen at some garages yesterday as 1,200 out of 8,373 pumps were shut following more than 11 days of disruption.
Howard Cox of FairFuelUK said there is a need for an independent watchdog to regulate costs at the pumps.
He said: “Prices at the pumps should now be 15p to 20p less, due to oil costs falling by 30 per cent in March plus a welcome 6p cut in fuel taxes.”
Tory MP Craig Mackinlay said: “It is now obvious that motorists are being fleeced by the fuel supply chain.

“Wholesale oil prices are way down from historic highs but the price at the pump has moved down by mere buttons.
“It’s time for a PumpWatch price monitor to bring such blatant profiteering to heel.”
Last night pressure was mounting on ministers to ban fuel protests at oil plants and arrest the eco-warriors causing chaos for millions of motorists.
Labour called for immediate nationwide injunctions on Just Stop Oil activities like those slapped on Insulate Britain protesters last year.
They want a ban on protests at oil terminals and across Britain’s road network, in a bid to make arrests easier.
Twice-daily crisis meetings are being held between the Department for Transport, Home Office and Department for Business.
No10 said the public should continue to buy fuel as normal following reports that one in three forecourts in the South were running out of fuel.
'Help UK's drivers'
By Howard Cox of FairFuelUK
MORE than 20 million drivers will take to the roads this Easter but there is a foul stench of sickening exploitation hanging around thousands of garage forecourts.
Three weeks after the Spring Statement, our hard-fought-for and historic 5p Fuel Duty cut seems to have gone unheeded by much of the fuel supply chain.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak has the power and voters’ support to stop the continual fleecing of drivers, by implementing mine and The Sun’s long-called-for, independent fuel-pricing watchdog, PumpWatch.
It is time the Government started to help the UK’s 37 million drivers.
