The mum-of-three admitted her mind had wandered when they returned from an advert break early on in Monday’s programme and she suddenly burst out laughing.
As the cameras rolled, she said: “I was actually just watching us on the monitor, then I was like ‘oh my god I’m watching and we’re actually on’.”
Phillip, 60, scolded her, saying: “You can’t watch the tele if you’re on it.”

Holly exclaimed: “I know! Rule number one of the presenting handbook, I’m sorry”.
Phil threw her a look, and then gasped “wow” as Holly laughed it off.
“Happy Monday!” she said before carrying on with the programme.

Their packed morning included interview with singer Aled Jones and MP Kier Starmer.
The Labour leader said there should be “zero tolerance” of sexism in parliament, after the Prime Minister and Culture Secretary tweeted exactly the same words of support for Angela Rayner.
It comes as Angela Rayner was accused of trying to distract Boris Johnson with her legs.

Starmer said: “It is rank sexism, rank misogyny. She was really disgusted that all of her political attributes were put aside for this ridiculous, offensive story.
“She shouldn’t have to put up with it but all women in politics shouldn’t have to put up with it.
“Almost every woman in politics has had an element of this in some shape or form.”
