Season two returns with two teams going head-to-head to be the first to get their hands on the £200,000 jackpot, but there can only be one winner.

Alim
Contestant Alim[/caption]Alim is a 31-year-old from London, who described himself as a “hard of hearing, English/Indian, queer, Muslim”.
Alim is extremely competitive and would like to win enough money to help good causes.
He describes himself as a leader and a meditator as well as a bit of a control freak.
David
Contestant David[/caption]David is a 31-year-old cheeky chappy from South wales.
He describes himself as a “Karl Pilkington type character, moaning about most things in life.”
David is very competitive and is willing to do whatever it takes to win the competition for himself and would use the prize to start a new life.

Rikaya
Contestant Rikaya[/caption]Liverpool-born Rikaya is 30 years old and now lives in London.
She runs her own fashion business and teaches yoga, as well as working day to day as an estate agent.
Rikaya is highly competitive and doesn’t like people who take themselves too seriously and don’t have a sense of humour.
Crystal
Contestant Crystal[/caption]Crystal is a 52-year-old from Liverpool.
She says she’s a “good friend but not the best enemy” and you don’t want to get on the wrong side of her.
She’s extremely competitive and plays to win: “If someone wants to play dirty, I will play filthy.”

Frankie
Contestant Frankie[/caption]Canadian-born Frankie lives and works in London.
The 30-year-old is the founder and CEO of a speech and debate company.
Frankie describes himself as a risk-taker and the puppet master in a group.
Keira
Contestant Keira[/caption]Keira is in training for the Paris 2024 Paralympics to represent Team GB in taekwondo.
The 24-year-old from Wrexham had her left arm amputated when she was 21 following an accident when she was 15 and says it was best decision she ever made.
Keira copes well under pressure and she’s stubborn.
Lotti
Contestant Lottie[/caption]Lotti is a 20-year-old from Cornwall.
She is currently studying for a degree in broadcast journalism.
She describes herself as a born leader and says it’s a role she naturally gravitates towards.
Ethan
Contestant Ethan[/caption]Ethan is a 28-year-old from Wiltshire.
He followed generations of men in his family and joined the army at the age of 21.
Ethan says he will make the extra effort to make sure everyone is okay and keeping the team morale up is integral to the success of any mission.
South Beach
Basit
Contestant Basit[/caption]Dublin-born Basit is a 27-year-old from London.
He says he is a “cheeky Irish guy” and “one of a kind”.
If he were to win, he would save the money to have a big Nigerian wedding.
Alex
Contestant Alex[/caption]Alex is a 24-year-old Cambridge graduate from London.
He thinks his optimism is a strength which allows him the determination to do anything he puts his mind to, even if he lacks the skills to complete a task.
If he were to win the money, he would like to give back and support his grandma in Hong Kong who helped fun his education.
Glasgow
Contestant Glasgow[/caption]Glasgow is a 24-year-old Scotland-born PhD student now living in London.
Glasgow struggled with their sexuality and identity for a long time and would like to help people understand more about non-binary people.
Glasgow considers themselves to be a problem-solver, however, they don’t necessarily have the confidence to put their ideas forward.
Dawn
Contestant Dawn[/caption]Dawn is a 48-year-old mother of four from London.
She works as a carer for the elderly and lives her life “to the max, with no regrets” having had a difficult childhood.
If Dawn won the prize money, she would extend her kitchen and then save some money for her dream wedding.
Kim
Contestant Kim[/caption]Kim is a 34-year-old account manager from North London.
Her twin brother sadly died in early 2020 and now she wants to “live for us both and do it well”.
She considers herself a leader and is fiercely competitive.
Richard
Contestant Richard[/caption]Richard is a 36-year-old IT salesman from Birmingham.
Due to the nature of his job, he’s highly competitive and believes in “work hard, play harder”.
He considers his strengths to be confidence and respect towards others which allow him to integrate into any team.
Lauren
Contestant Lauren[/caption]Lauren is a 29-year-old product manager from Stoke-on-Trent.
She describes herself as “positive, enthusiastic and overly energetic”.
She says she’s a great communicator and can think with a sensible head.
Shaun
Contestant Shaun[/caption]Shaun is a 29-year-old model from Birmingham.
He is extremely motivated and “fuelled by pain” rather than deterred by it.
Shaun likes to lead by example, doing the things no one else wants to and he has no time for people who don’t put in any effort.
When is The Bridge on Channel 4?
The Bridge kicked off on Channel 4 on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 10 PM.
AJ Odudu presents the eight-part series alongside adventurer and explorer Aldo Kane.
